ABC Teachers are looking for a passionate and skilled Science Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Newport.
About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher to step into an engaging role, teaching Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging science lessons across the curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to drive academic success.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for science.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and contribute to departmental goals.
- Ensure all students meet learning objectives through differentiated instruction and support.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Chemistry Teacher you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Degree in a relevant science subject.
- Strong understanding of the Science curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
